About the Author
Dr David Levy was a Consultant Physician at the Gillian Hanson Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology, Whipps Cross University Hospital, London, UK and Hon Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, UK, until his retirement in December 2014. He is still in active clinical practice, specialising in diabetes and endocrinology, and is the author of many books for healthcare professionals, including Practical Diabetes Care (4th edition, 2016), Type 1 Diabetes (2nd edition, 2016); The Hands-on guide to Diabetes Care in Hospital (2015), reflecting his recognition as a specialist at the cutting edge of clinical care.
