About the Author
Jackie Padgette-Baird is a California native and a student and product of music and the arts. Jackie had many achievements in the entertainment field especially as a professional musician and writer. She cut albums, had a top billed band on the Nevada circuit for 7 years. During this time she became ill and when no one could help her, she reflected back on her father's teachings as he was the first bio analyst and pathologist in the state of California. Jackie took her health in her own hands because she did not receive any answers. It was nutrition that saved her life and became her second love. Working as an assistant to Dr. Victoria Arcadi, Jackie learned about nutritional application in a clinical setting, ran the nutritional department and organized Dr. Vicky's seminars. Flush Your Fat 4Good was divinely given when once again she was in need. Dr. Victoria C. Arcadi (aka Dr. Vicky), graduated UCLA in 1972 with a BA degree in Psychobiology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1984 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She earned her Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) in 1997, specializing in pregnancy, pre-natal care and pediatrics. In private practice and on staff at a birth center, she worked with midwives and medical doctors. Chiropractic care and clinical nutrition proved an effective and successful approach in managing her pregnant women and patients for more than 32 years in practice. Dr. Vicky published some of the first chiropractic case studies in pregnancy, pediatrics, breastfeeding, and glycobiology and is certified in Applied Kinesiology. She has been living the healthy lifestyle herself for more than 30 years. She is excited to have an opportunity to help the millions of people globally and also bring awareness to Globesity pandemic.
