About the Author
Mike Buchanan (1957- ) is a British writer with a particular interest in the damage wrought in the developed world by radical feminists: feminists (usually, but not exclusively, women) who campaign and scheme not for equal opportunities for men and women, but for equal outcomes (e.g. gender balance in the boardroom) regardless of the relative numbers of men and women willing to take on such roles and able to perform them successfully. This book follows two earlier books which critiqued the differences between the genders, and radical feminism, in the context of politics ('David and Goliatha: David Cameron - heir to Harman?') and in the context of the world of work ('The Glass Ceiling Delusion: the REAL reasons more women don't reach senior positions'). Mike Buchanan worked as a consultant for the Conservative party (2006-8) but resigned his party membership in late 2009 in protest against the decision of David Cameron, the leader of the party, to introduce all-women prospective parliamentary candidate shortlists for the ensuing general election, using for this purpose legislation introduced (without prior notice in the Labour party's 2005 manifesto) by the radical feminist MP Harriet Harman. Mike Buchanan has written nine books since 2008, the titles of which are (in reverse chronological order): Feminism: The Ugly Truth (being launched in February 2012 in ebook editions) / The Glass Ceiling Delusion / David and Goliatha: David Cameron - heir to Harman? / The Joy of Self-Publishing (also available in ebook editions) / Buchanan's Dictionary of Quotations for right-minded people / Buchanan's Dictionary of Quotations for right-minded Americans / Two Men in a Car (also available in ebook editions) / The Marriage Delusion: the fraud of the rings? (a hardback - the paperback edition is titled 'The Fraud of the Rings') / Guitar Gods in Beds. (Bedfordshire: a heavenly county) / For Kogan Page: Profitable Buying Strategies: How to cut procurement costs and buy your way to higher profits' - this title is also available, helpfully, in a Chinese language edition. Mike Buchanan is the proprietor of LPS publishing, a British publisher, further details on the business and its titles may be found on Lpspublishing.co.uk. He runs the 'Fighting Feminism' blog http://fightingfeminism.wordpress.com.
Reviews
According to an opinion poll conducted for the radical feminist charity Fawcett Society in 2016, only 9 percent of British women, and 4 percent of British men, identify as feminists. Yet feminism has for decades been deeply embedded in state and other institutions in Britain, and much of the developed world (and increasingly the developing world, too). Feminism is a deeply toxic ideology, which seeks not gender equality, but ever more female privilege, regardless of the adverse consequences for men and boys (and women and girls, indirectly). Mike Buchanan leads the British political party Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them) http://j4mb.org.uk, this book is his critique of feminism, a powerful but dangerous ideology consisting of baseless conspiracy theories (e.g. the feminist patriarchy "theory"), fantasies, lies, delusions and myths; If you use Amazon's "Look Inside" facility, you'll soon find the Table of Contents. The 57 chapters of the book (some of them very short) include chapters on the feminist assaults on men, women, heterosexuality, marriage, the nuclear family, capitalism, democracy and the English language. Other chapters include, "Are you a misogynist if you only hate feminists?", "Are feminists less intelligent than normal women?", "Are feminists less attractive than normal women?", "Do feminists suffer from PPS (Permanent Premenstrual Syndrome)?", "Are feminists delusional? Is the Pope a Catholic? Do bears crap in woods?", and "Are some feminists (e.g. Tracey Emin) a pain in the arts?"
