Description

In this remarkably accessible, concise, and engaging introduction to moral philosophy, Steven M. Cahn brings together a rich, balanced, and wide-ranging collection of fifty-two readings on ethical theory and contemporary moral issues. He has carefully edited all the articles to ensure that they will be exceptionally clear and understandable to undergraduate students. The selections are organized into three parts--Challenges to Morality, Moral Theories, and Moral Problems--providing instructors with flexibility in designing and teaching a variety of ethics courses. Each reading is followed by study questions.

About the Author
Steven M. Cahn is Professor of Philosophy at the City University of New York Graduate Center. He is the author of Exploring Philosophy, Fifth Edition (OUP, 2015); Classic and Contemporary Readings in the Philosophy of Education (OUP, 2011); Ethics: History, Theory and Contemporary Issues, Fifth Edition (OUP, 2011); Political Philosophy, Third Edition (OUP, 2015); and The Meaning of Life, Fourth Edition (OUP, 2017), among others.

Reviews
It's a well organized book. One of the great strengths of the book is its breadth. It accomplishes so much because of the brevity of the readings." - Daniel Yeakel, University of Michigan - Dearborn
It's a text that offers good coverage for a lower division course in Contemporary Moral Issues with well edited excerpts of classics at a good price point for students." - Zachary Bachman, Sam Houston State University
A great anthology that includes good selections of many key texts for an affordable price." - Elizabeth Singleton, Ridgewater College

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
