Description

Emo - confessional punk rock - is the first cultural movement born on the Internet, thanks in part to the development of social networking sites like MySpace. Tracing its angst-y roots all the way from Shakespeare to Holden Caulfield to today's most popular bands, this is the definitive handbook to Emo. From the movement's fashion and ideology, to its music, movies and eating habits, it's all covered here with razor-sharp wit.

About the Author
Trevor Kelley is a leading contributor for Alternative Press. His work has also appeared in Spin, NME, and Harp. His favorite emo album of the past ten years is Tell All Your Friends by Taking Back Sunday. He lives in New York. Leslie Simon is the author of Wish You Were Here: An Essential Guide to Your Favorite Music Scenes and co-author of Everybody Hurts: An Essential Guide to Emo Culture. Her work has appeared in Kerrang!, Alternative Press, metromix.com, and MTV.com.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
