She is actively involved in continuing nursing education as a director, consultant, and participant. She is a frequent presenter at national nursing, college communication and composition meetings and conferences. She is the editor of Writing-to-Learn: Curricular Strategies for Nursing and Other Discipline and Service Learning: Curricular Applications in Nursing and co-editor of the textbook, End of Life Nursing Care.
