About the Author
Julian Pottage has a regular themed column in the two principal UK bridge magazines, and has written or co-written seventeen books, including Win the Big Match (ISBN 0 7134 8922 7) published by Batsford. He has also contributed to the popular Daily Bridge Calendar and was an Assistant Editor to the latest edition of The Official Encyclopedia of Bridge. His book Play or Defend has just won the (first) international Master Point Press IBPA Book of the Year Award. Julian lives in Tadley, Hampshire.
