About the Author

Liz Strachan taught in her local school in Montrose, north-east Scotland, for most of her long career as a teacher of mathematics. She is a keen golfer but admits to having no talent in her favourite sport whatsoever. Liz is married with two sons, four grandchildren and one gorgeous great grandson.
