Reviews
DOUBLE INDEMNITY is among the finest of all American novels, regardless of genre or style * LA TIMES *
Nobody has ever quite pulled it off the way Cain does, not Hemingway and not even Raymond Chandler. Cain is the master -- Tom Wolfe
[A] fine idea for a series... They already have a superb noir backlist.. but adding Philip K Dick's Minority Report and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? improves the mix. * SCOTSMAN *
