About the Author
Jeffrey A. Bell is Professor of Philosophy at Southeastern Louisiana University. Professor of English at Penn State University. She is the author of New Literary Histories (1997), Gilles Deleuze (2002), Understanding Deleuze (2002), Irony in the Work of Philosophy (2002), Gender (2003) and Irony: The New Critical Idiom (2003) and the co-editor of Deleuze and Feminist Theory (1999). James Williams is Professor of European Philosophy at the University of Dundee. He has published widely on Deleuze, including Gilles Deleuze's Logic of Sense: a Critical Introduction and Guide (Edinburgh University Press, 2008), The Transversal Thought of Gilles Deleuze: Encounters and Influences (Manchester: Clinamen, 2005) and Gilles Deleuze's Difference and Repetition: a Critical Introduction and Guide (Edinburgh University Press, 2003)
