About the Author
Derrick Warren spent his working life with the Ordnance Survey as a cartographic surveyor, until his retirement in 1988. This work gave him many opportunities to explore the whole of the West Country, which instilled in him a lasting interest in local and industrial history. This is Derrick's seventh book, his first for Sutton Publishing. He lives in Taunton.
