From exploring a child's first steps in therapy to helping parents and carers with their responses, this book provides practical advice for working with children aged 4-12 and families navigating issues of anger and emotional regulation.

The book includes over fifty playful, practical, and purposeful activities to use in therapy. Grounded in theory and research around anger in children, the activities include clear therapeutic rationales for practitioners, considerations for older and younger children, suggestions for the inclusion of parents and carers, and adaptations for online practice. This is the ultimate tool for therapists looking to develop their clinical practice with creative ways to help children manage their anger.

Reviews
Gentle and conversational in her narrative, Fiona invites child therapists to consider creative ways of responding to children's therapeutic needs around anger, as well as the needs of themselves and parents/caregivers. The activities offered have the potential to transform the child's therapy experience through their use of metaphor and play, providing the embodied experiences necessary for therapeutic change. -- Katherine Olejniczak, Supervising Director of Psychology and Play Therapy Australia
Another wonderful workbook from Fiona Zandt brimming with creative and practical ideas, suggestions, and strategies described in accessible and thoughtful ways which can be applied and interwoven into practice. Peppered with lots of examples, stories, and related theory. A great addition to your book shelf! -- Dr Karen Treisman, MBE, Clinical Psychologist, Trainer, and Author of multiple books and cards
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! It provides a framework using neuroscience and attachment to ground the play therapy activities. The author walks you through each phase of treatment to assess the needs of your clients and provides case examples to make the information more understandable. Each section provides specific interventions you can use to help children regulate their emotions. The author also emphasizes the importance of integrated grownups for co-regulation and how to involve grownups using the interventions. The activities are creative and there are suggestions on how to adjust to meet the needs of each client. -- Cathi Spooner, Life Coach, Counsellor and Author
packed with creative activities to help children understand and manage anger. I love all the wonderful techniques, as well as the overview that highlights important issues such as neuroscience of regulation, the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and the role of playful techniques. Highly recommend! -- Liana Lowenstein, author speaker, child psychotherapist

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
