About the Author
Candace Crockett is a professor of art at San Francisco State University. An important theme in her career as an artist has involved using historical and ethnic techniques and imagery in fresh new ways. Her work appears in corporate collections and has been shown in museums and galleries across the country. Other books are 'Beyond Weaving' (Watson Guptill, 1973) and 'The Complete Spinning Book' (WG, 1977).
