About the Author

Dr Niaz Chowdhury is a scientist, educator, start-up co-founder, author and grant winner from the United Kingdom working with technology-aided 21st-century education and disruptive technologies, including Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence. His experience spans over one and a half decades across three British and Irish nations in England, Scotland and Ireland.

Dr Chowdhury has co-founded two start-ups in the UK. One of them is the London Tech Lab, a deep tech research lab established in 2020 during the pandemic. The lab focuses on developing technologies related to Web3, AI, Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, and Fintech. Dr Chowdhury currently serves as the Chief Scientist at the lab. The other start-up is the London School of Leadership, Investment, and Technology (LSLIT), which was founded the following year. LSLIT is an EdTech institution providing executive education for professionals and lifelong learners. Dr Chowdhury holds the positions of Chairman and Director of Education at LSLIT.

Previously, he held the position of AI Lead in the UK Government's InnovateUK co-funded project SAM AI, where he was the P.I. winning the grant with Store Performance, the participating SME. He was also a researcher at Knowledge Media Institute (KMI), The Open University, UK, working with EU Horizon2020 projects QualiChain and DEL4ALL and Smart City project MK-Smart, collaborating with the University of Cambridge. During his time at the OU, he was a key team member that developed the world's first digital COVID-19 vaccination certification system.

He authored Inside Blockchain, Bitcoin, and Cryptocurrencies in 2019, published by Taylor & Francis, and edited two other books. He also published numerous research articles in reputed journals and conferences.

Dr Chowdhury earned his doctoral degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and was a Govt. of Ireland Scholar at Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland. He was also a Gold Medallist awarded by H.E. President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Mr Ganesh Chandra Deka is Deputy Director in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi-110001, India.

His research interests include Blockchain Technology, Bigdata Analytics, NoSQL Database and Internet of Things (IoT). He has authored 2 books on Cloud Computing (Publisher- LAP Lambert, Germany, Co-author for 5 text books on (4 Fundamentals of Computer Science, 1 Free and Open Source Software).

Mr Deka has Edited 15 books (5 IGI Global, USA, 7 CRC Press, USA, 1 Springer & 2 Elsevier) on Bigdata, NoSQL Database and Blockchain Technology. He authored 12 book Chapters, published 8 papers in various reputed Journals (2 IEEE, 1 Elsevier 5 others) and around 47 research papers in various IEEE conferences. He was Guest Editor for 4 Special Issues of indexed International Journals [SCOPUS & SCI Journal].

As of now, he has Organized 8 IEEE International Conference as Technical Chair in India. He is Editorial board member and reviewer for various Journals and International conferences, member of IEEE, the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, India and Associate Member, the Institution of Engineers, India

Fast and efficient way to choose and receive books

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
