About the Author
Adele Reinhartz is Professor in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa. She has authored a number of books on the Bible, including Befriending the Beloved Disciple: A Jewish Reading of the Gospel of John (2001) and Caiaphas the High Priest (2011), as well on the intersection of Bible and film, including Scripture on the Silver Screen (2003) and Jesus of Hollywood (2007).
