Description
"Happiness and wellbeing are often in conflict. In fact, the things that make for a full life typically involve a mix of emotions. If you seek only the pleasant ones, you'll end up with tranquillity, not happiness. Maybe that's what you want. No judgement. But I want more. And, given that you're reading this book, I suspect you do too."
In this detailed account filled with professional and insightful perspectives, Dr Mark Fabian explores the reality of finding happiness and maintaining our wellbeing. From honest case studies and psychological research, to personal experiences and ancient philosophy, this guide will change the way we think about happiness and how it can really be achieved.
