Description
Fresh as the day they were baked, comes a new collection of stories from the author of 'Shorts'. Set in the village of Little Bunting, Andrew delivers his daily bread to those he terms his Baker's Dozen: a motley crew ranging from the crusty to the soft, the fruity and the sweet and those who are past their sell-by date.
The village is not all that it seems and a sense of unease creeps through its streets, as illusions, disguises, pretence and the fake lead us along deceptive paths while surrealist paintings take on a life.
Take my hand and come through the gate and witness the strange goings-on, for it all happens in a country village!
