Reviews
Exceptionally well written, illustrated, organized and presented ... As informed and informative as it is practical and effective, "Babies, Kids and Dogs" is enthusiastically recommended for family and community library collections, and especially to anyone one who has young children and a dog living under the same roof. Midwest Book Review Babies, Kids and Dogs offers you the tools to impress Geelong Obedience Dog Club BABIES, KIDS AND DOGS is more than a book, it's more of a training manual packed with tasks, exercises, tips, training techniques and very sound advice ... will appeal to all dog owners considering starting a family or those who already have small children. Pet Owners Association 'Babies, Kids and Dogs' is really great book for parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and anyone with a dog that is going to be around children. I have just sent off for a copy for my nephew and his expectant partner to help prepare their dog Oscar for the new arrival. I know they will love it and so will Oscar. Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) Babies, kids and dogs would be an excellent place to begin to learn about safe ways for kids and all family members to have fun with their dog. I hope people will choose these over cute, but potentially dangerous, close encounters of the human-dog kind. Psychology Today it is an extremely valuable resource to anyone with children or who works with children ... For current or prospective dog owners who can learn well from a book, including following training exercises via step-by-step instructions and photos to help, it is certainly a useful preparatory tool.
