About the Author

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rainer Drath is a scientist in the field of Automation Engineering, one of the architects of CAEX and AutomationML, board member of the AutomationML Association. He studied automation engineering at TU Ilmenau from 1990-1995 and received his PhD from 1996-1999. From 2001-2017 he worked at ABB's research center in Ladenburg as a scientist, group leader, program manager and senior principal scientist. In 2017, Rainer Drath was appointed Professor of Mechatronic Systems Development at Pforzheim University. There he teaches, among other things, Mechatronic Systems Engineering and, together with his team, is dedicated to researching innovative methods for improving interdisciplinary systems engineering as well as Industry 4.0. Rainer Drath is the editor of the first AutomationML book and author of more than 200 publications.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
