Reviews
"The last several decades have seen tremendous advances in the development of empirically supported treatments for a variety of psychological disorders but many of these developments are specific to a given disorder and comorbidity is the rule rather than the exception. The Unified Protocol is an effort by David Barlow and his students to develop a framework that the practicing clinician can use to address this comorbidity in a coherent fashion. The current edited volume from Barlow and Farchione and their contributing authors represents a rich compendium of applications of he Unified Protocol to a wide variety of psychological disorders ranging from anxiety and depression to substance abuse and the personality disorders. It should serve as a valuable resource to anyone who treats or studies comorbid clients in the real world." --Steven Hollon, Ph.D., Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Professor of Psychology, Vanderbilt University
