Reviews
This volume (Analyzing Prayer) therefore constitutes a deepening of analytic theology's theological breadth and depth, and covers useful ground with separate chapters on intercession, lament, prayer's relationship to dogmatics, God's prayer, and other significant topics. * Travis LaCouter, Heythrop Journal *
This book is valuable because it offers reflection on the Christian life as actually experienced. * Mark Mattes, Lutheran Quarterly *
Readers unfamiliar with analytic philosophy and theology will be pleasantly surprised by the efforts of the authors to write clearly and accessibly,...all who read this anthology should find something here to enrich their understanding and practice of prayer. * Steven Payne, The Recensioni *
Crisp, Arcadi, and Wessling, to my mind, prove here that 'analyzing prayer' is a worthwhile venture, and I welcome similar ventures in the future. * Derek King, International Journal of Systematic Theology *
