Reviews
A well-structured text. The authors successfully explain complex language features in a concise, easy-to-read, and student-friendly manner! -- Andri Schoonen, North-West University, South Africa
This book is invaluable as an introductory text for students studying Linguistics or English Language. I have used it as the set text for my first-year class since the second edition, and this latest edition is even better. -- Jonathan Marshall, University of Gloucestershire, UK
