Kenneth Morgan is one of Britain's leading modern historians. He is a Fellow of the British Academy, Honorary Fellow of The Queen's College, Oxford University and was appointed to the House of Lords in 2000. He is the author of over 25 books, including 'The People's Peace: Britain Since 1945'; 'Modern Wales: Politics, Places and People'; and 'The Twentieth Century'.
