Huimin Jin (PhD) is 211 Chair Professor of Cultural Theory & Aesthetics at Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai, and Professor of Literary Theory at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing, China. His publications, among others, include "Post-Confucian Turn" (2008), "Consequences of New Media: A Critical Theory Concerning the End of Literature" (2005), "Postmodernity and Dialectical Hermeneutics" (2002), "Beyond the Will: A Study of Arthur Schopenhauer's Philosophy and Aesthetics" (1999 & 2007), and "Anti-Metaphysics and Contemporary Aesthetics" (1997). He is Editor of the journal "Differences" (Kaifeng: Henan University Press, 2002).
