About the Author
The Arkbound Foundation exists to widen access to literature and the media for people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. The Foundation seeks to stimulate a vibrant, inclusive democratic society where the press is used as an instrument to enlighten and educate people - serving the needs of the many rather than the few. We work with people from traditionally excluded backgrounds to help get their work published - in books, magazines and other media - linking them up with experienced mentors and providing a range of workshops in disadvantaged areas.
Reviews
"'A Journalism Handbook' is a wonderful guide for the aspiring journalist. Easy to follow and very accessible, it offers a broad and in-depth look at the practice of journalism. Readers will get ample information on the duties of the journalist, on how to get ideas and research them, how to write a great article etc, whilst also getting insight into the changing media industry i.e. the rise of online journalism. Overall, a wonderful book, informative, and useful and something that the reader can easily go back to time after time. Highly recommend this to anyone who is raring and ready to get into the world of journalism." - Anon, Amazon UK
