Reviews

'Heater ... has spent half a century reading in the areas of history, political theory and education and has now decided to pull the threads together. The result is a book that is extremely well organised, very well written and terrifically insightful. This very valuable work deserves to be very widely read by all who are involved in the exploration and promotion of citizenship education ... Essential reading.' - Ian Davies, Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of York

'Derek Heater is one of the few people capable and experienced enough to write a history of education for citizenship and in this volume he provides a series of important, if general, insights and commentaries.' - James Arthur, History of Education Researcher

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
