Description
A Feel Better Book for Little Tempers assures little kids that anger is normal - everyone gets angry sometimes, even adults! The rhyming narration helps kids to identify anger and provides them with helpful tools to manage and move past it.
Hello there my friend, how are you?
Do tell! Are you happy and calm?
Peaceful and well?
Or is it one of those days you feel misunderstood?
You're huffy and puffy and just plain not good.
You wanted it this way.
It went that way instead!
Now your ears are quite hot and your cheeks are all red.
Are you clenching your fists, is there a frown on your face?
It sounds like a temper could be the case.
Sometimes the LITTLEST kids can have the BIGGEST tempers!
Includes a Note to Parents and Caregivers with more information on how you can help your little one manage their little (or not-so-little!) tempers.

Reviews
"In this informational picture book, Brochmann and Bowen use rhyme and helpful vocabulary to identify emotions and bodily sensations associated with anger....The text works well to draw a connection between bodily sensations and emotional regulation in a way that's accessible for young audiences. The illustrations depict characters with various skin tones and the expressiveness of their faces complement the presentation a great deal by providing additional ways of identifying different emotions....This is a solid resource for caregivers and an appropriate addition to most collections for young children." -School Library Journal
"Told in catchy rhymes that are joyful and fun to read out loud. The narration is gentle and calming and introduces the subject of worry and temper in a very simple and straightforward manner....The lively and expressive illustrations will charm children from the start." -Children's Books Heal
