The Fools' Guild is an organization of jesters, minstrels and performers who act as secret agents, striving behind the scenes to manipulate events so as to maintain as much peace as possible. Alan Gordon is an attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Queens and the author of six novels featuring the Fools Guild, including the forthcoming The Lark's Lament. He lives in Queens, New York.
