About the Author
Sheila Rowbotham who helped to start the Women's Liberation Movement in Britain, is an Honorary Fellow at Manchester and Bristol universities. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Her many books include Dreamers of a New Day; Edward Carpenter; and Women, Resistance and Revolution.
