This book presents an assessment of virtual reality (VR) from an ethical perspective. The book discusses contemporary developments in VR, augmented (AR) and mixed reality (MR) technologies in terms of their anti-and-pro-social benefits, data and privacy concerns. It then assesses the way in which modern VR and AR technologies can be harnessed for the development of ethical thinking, reflection and decision-making in professional practice, training or education.
