Description

Love isn't always shiny. And it isn't always forever. With the same gentle, hopeful voice that has captivated readers worldwide comes the guide for starting over. Emma Grace's second book, Untangling, begins at an ending- and ends at a beginning. Untangling is for anyone navigating the beautifully complicated process of untangling the knots our love stories tie into us.

Each chapter tackles the sometimes sequential, sometimes parallel stages of healing a heart- from 'When it all comes Tumbling Down' to 'Don't you Dare Pick up that Phone.' From 'I Keep Forgetting I Can't Call' to 'I will Never Love like this Again.' This is a journey towards self-growth through reflection. Sprinkled with stories from her own journey, Emma will have you laughing. Reflecting. Tearing up. Letting go. But ultimately, feeling whole.

Like a conversation with a best friend, Untangling will help you find your balance again. Remind you that you're not alone in all this. Encourage you to learn from experiences in love instead of just having them. But mostly- how to find the kind of happiness that someone else didn't make. And a broken heart can never take.

Untangling is the book that helps you move forward without going back. That starts at an ending and ends at a beginning. And helps us each find peace with all the things we do, and did, when love was leading us.

  • About the Author
Emma Grace is the author behind the hugely popular series Live in the Details. Following the release of her first book, Courage to Rise, in December 2018, Emma has risen in popularity, with millions flocking weekly to Instagram and Facebook to read her words. Known as the author who finds words to talk about the things that are hardest to talk about, Emma brings the conversational tone of a good friend to the wisdom of an old one. She writes about life, love, growth, and the full spectrum of things in-between. Her words capture readers where they are and walk them, gently, through the hugely complicated kaleidoscope of experiences that are this life. Emma's words are raw, real, and honest. Her stream of consciousness style captures in a simple, yet beautiful way, all the things that people see, feel, and are. She is a believer in taking risks, in trusting, and in that everything happens for a reason. But mostly- in big love and the power of one person to change their little corner of this world. So, as long as she has breath in her lungs- that is what she will found doing. Originally from the Hudson Valley in upstate New York, Emma now lives in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, with a busy consulting career alongside her writing.

    Reviews
Inviting its audience to grow in trust in themselves, the book promises that every end is attached to a new beginning. Its straight talk, pep talk, and confessional tones make its suggestions about relating to one's self and others vulnerable, wise, and gracious, while the book's punchy short paragraphs and fragments emphasize points and keep the work moving.

Though recovering from the end of a relationship is difficult, Untangling shows that it's worth doing.

    The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
