His is the author of three books and his long-time interest in international business has fuelled a fascination with China, which culminated to his researching and writing of UNLOCKING THE EMPEROR'S DOOR. Married to novelist Jenny Bond, Sheedy has two young sons, a dog, and a mild but manageable obsession with the sport of football.
