About the Author
Phil Davy studied musical instrument making at the London College of Furniture and has taught carpentry and joinery at colleges in the west of England. As a qualified wood machinist, Phil is a Consultant Editor for Good Woodworking magazine. Ben Plewes was trained as a furniture maker in the early 1990s before working for a number of London-based design consultancies and furniture manufacturers. Ben currently runs his own bespoke furniture making business.
