About the Author
Paul Hogan has owned TRs for over 40 years, including three TR6s. While serving his apprenticeship working on Jaguars and Healeys he stripped down his own TR to the last nut and bolt and rebuilt it from the ground up. The fact that this car is still in excellent condition is testament to the care he lavished on it at the time. A former Chairman of the TR Register, Paul helped to raise the profile of the TR range through racing his own TR at Le Mans. His book about the Triumph TR6 aims to share the knowledge he has gained through experience of common problems on his own cars.
Reviews
It's small enough to fit in a glove box and a great tool for someone new to classic ownership, or someone working on their first TR6--Classic Car Weekly. The book is arranged into easy to follow sections from engine, driveline, suspension, electrical, trim, bodywork and lots more. Priced within an enthusiast's pocketbook limitations, this is an essential book for the Triumph TR6 owner and prospective buyer. - Old Autos. Neat little book from Veloce that is designed to offer owners of the TR6 an insight into some of the problems that can arise and importantly how to fix them. Nicely arranged into easy-to-follow sections, such as engine, drivetrain, suspension et al, while plenty of upgrade information is also given. Handy size that will fit neatly into your glovebox. - tkc. Rather than being a buying guide, this book is aimed at helping current TR6 owners diagnose and repair some of the car's most common problems. It's easy to grasp and well presented, with clear text and useful colour photos. It covers both UK and IS-specificiation TR6s. Well worth buying it you're already an owner. - Auto Express. --- I can't do better than quote from the author's introduction to the TR6 book: "An aid for enthusiasts who'd like to know more about the inner workings of the car, how it's put together, and some ideas on how to take it apart!" ... If I had one these handsome British sports cars in my garage, I would want this book on my shelves. - New Zealand Classic Car
