About the Author
Mr Peter C. Whitfield is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Honorary Associate Professor at the South West Neurosurgery Centre, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Dr Elfyn O. Thomas is a consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and Neuroanaesthesia at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Dr Jessie Welbourne is a consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and Neuroanaesthesia at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Dr Fiona Summers is the lead of acute neuropsychology services in NHS Grampian and an honorary lecturer at the University of Aberdeen. Dr Maggie Whyte is the lead of neuropsychological rehabilitation services in NHS Grampian and the psychology lead for the North of Scotland Major Trauma network. Professor Peter J. A. Hutchinson is Professor of Neurosurgery and NIHR Research Professor at the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Cambridge and Honorary Consultant Neurosurgeon at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
