About the Author
Kirsty Horsey is a Professor of Law at Loughborough University, having previously taught tort law to undergraduate students across all years for over 25 years at the University of Kent. Her research interests lie in the overlap of medical, family and tort law. She has also written widely on the regulation of assisted reproduction, in particular surrogacy, and is the editor of several collections including Diverse Voices in Tort Law (Bristol University Press, 2024) and Future Directions in Surrogacy Law (Bristol University Press, 2025). Erika Rackley is a Professor of Law at the University of Birmingham. She has taught tort law at Leicester, Durham and Kent Universities. Her research interests span torts, judicial studies, law and gender, criminal law and legal history. She has written extensively on these topics including Women's Legal Landmarks: Celebrating the History of Women and Law in the UK and Ireland (edited with Rosemary Auchmuty) (Hart, 2018) and Feminist Perspectives on Tort Law (edited with Janice Richardson) (Routledge, 2012). Her research has shaped and informed policy and public debate and has been discussed by the UK and Scottish governments, in The Guardian, and on BBC Radio 4's Women's Hour and Law in Action.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…

Finding a hard to get book on Booksplease and with it not being an over inflated price was great. Ordering was really easy with updates on despatch. The book was packaged well and in great condition. I will certainly use them again.
