Guy Adams lives with genius and writer A.K. Benedict in Rochester, Kent. He's the author of the Heaven's Gate trilogy of weird westerns, the Clown Service books and the Deadbeat novels. He's written countless hours of audio drama for Big Finish, from a wide range of Doctor Who titles to an adaptation of HG Wells' The Shape of Things to Come and the original horror series Blind Terror: The Gods of Frost. In comics he writes Rogue Trooper, Ulysses Sweet: Maniac for Hire and Max Normal for 2000 AD. With his comics husband, Jimmy Broxton, he is the co-creator of Goldtiger, the sixties newspaper strip that never existed... until now.
James Lovegrove
James Lovegrove is the author of nearly 60 books, including the New York Times bestselling Pantheon series, the Redlaw novels and the Dev Harmer Missions. He has produced five Sherlock Holmes novels and a Conan Doyle/Lovecraft mashup trilogy, The Cthulhu Casebooks. He has also written tie-in novels for the TV show Firefly.
James has sold well over 50 short stories and published two collections, Imagined Slights and Diversifications. He has produced a dozen short books for readers with reading difficulties, and a four-volume fantasy saga for teenagers, The Clouded World, under the pseudonym Jay Amory.
James has been shortlisted for numerous awards, including the Arthur C. Clarke Award, the John W. Campbell Memorial Award, the Bram Stoker Award, the British Fantasy Society Award and the Manchester Book Award. His short story "Carry The Moon In My Pocket" won the 2011 Seiun Award in Japan for Best Translated Short Story. His work has been translated into fifteen languages, and his journalism has appeared in periodicals as diverse as Literary Review, Interzone, BBC MindGames, All About History and Comic Heroes.
He contributes a regular fiction-review column to the Financial Times and lives with his wife, two sons and tiny dog in Eastbourne.
Lavanya Lakshminarayan
Lavanya Lakshminarayan is the author of Analog/Virtual: And Other Simulations of Your Future. She is a Locus Award finalist and is the first science fiction writer to win the Times of India AutHer Award and the Valley of Words Award, both prestigious literary awards in India, and her work has been longlisted for a BSFA Award. She's occasionally a game designer, and has built worlds for Zynga Inc.'s FarmVille franchise, Mafia Wars, and other games. She lives in India, and is currently working on her next novel.
MK Hardy
MK Hardy is the pen name for Morag Hannah and Erin Hardee, two geeky women living and writing together in Scotland. They are both communications specialists working in higher education. With backgrounds ranging from museum interpretation to web design, and from science communication to ghost tours, they are devoted to storytelling in almost every aspect of their lives and work. When they are not telling stories they can be found singing in choirs, foraging for fungi, and working on their 1880s fixer-upper.
