Carol Becker, preeminent arts educator and contributor to leading art magazines, offers a beautifully poignant meditation on the role of place in artistic creativity. Carol Becker is a Professor and Dean of the School of the Arts at Columbia University. She is the author of several books and numerous magazine and journal articles on art, artists, and critical theory.
