About the Author
CHRIS HOPKINS is Professor of English Studies and Head of the Humanities Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam, UK. He was a member of the English Subject Centre Advisory Board from 2003-6 and has published widely on British Fiction of the 1930s, Welsh writing in English and teaching University English.
