Description

In this lively and hard-hitting book Bove, and Francois Dufour, recount the dramatic events of their famous demonstration against MacDonald's and examine the issues behind the resulting campaign, which has now stretched from France and Seattle around the world.

Jose Bove, a French farmer, has become a leading figure in the global anti-capitalist protests. This book tells his story and examines the issues behind the WTO protests in Seattle, November 2000: the industrialization of agriculture in a global economy and the environmental damage this is causing.

About the Author
Naomi Klein is an award-winning journalist, syndicated columnist, fellow at the Nation Institute and author of The Shock Doctrine.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
