While the original book provided soft illustrations and soothing rhyme to help us see the magic within the mundane, this new joyful anthem of hope shows the beauty in experiences we previously took for granted. Of course, the magic isn't lost on us adults too, who have been waiting for a long time, for something as simple as a hug.

About the Author
Lauren worked in communications and as a freelance writer for several years before seeking a more creative career venture. With a passion for storytelling in rhyme and a desire to capture emotive themes, it was the whirlwind of 2020 that finally inspired her to turn her pen to children's books. "Somewhere amongst the chaos of 2020 I found myself without work and heavily pregnant after a long and gruelling journey with IVF. I wanted to write something that captured the emotions of a year so strange but also so special for so many families... because beautiful, magical things did still manage to find a place in 2020 and I hope my book serves as a way of remembering that."
