He has almost forty years of design, field engineering, and project management experience in the power, mining, industrial, and aerospace fields and is a registered engineer in both Pennsylvania and California. He is an arbitrator for Large Complex Cases for the American Arbitration Association and is a guest lecturer at universities in the United States and abroad. He is the author of several other books, including The Wiley Project Engineer's Desk Reference.
