Description

With this volume, Robert Doran completes his three volume work The Trinity in History, aimed at showcasing the relevance of the doctrine of the Trinity in concrete history. In addition to the analytic and synthetic steps toward theological understanding, the author proposes a more distinct and comprehensive theological synthesis grounded in the impact of the Trinity in history.

About the Author
Robert M. Doran, S.J., specialized in Catholic systematic theology and the philosophy and theology of Bernard Lonergan. As well as authoring many books, Father Doran also authored articles in several professional journals, and is co-Founder and Director Emeritus of the Lonergan Research Institute, Toronto, and Founding Director of the Marquette Lonergan Project.

Joseph Ogbonnaya is Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at Marquette University. He is the author of numerous articles and books including: African Perspectives on Culture and World Christianity, African Catholicism and Hermeneutics of Culture, Conscious in Two Ways: Robert M. Doran Remembers, and Intellect, Affect, and God: The Trinity, History, and the Life of Grace.

Reviews
This volume represents a magnificent finale to the academic career of Robert Doran. In it we witness not only the denouement of the three-volume work Trinity and History, but its theme, ""Redeeming History"" also brings to full circle Doran's lifelong concern with the concerns evident in Theology and The Dialectics of History (1990). [...] Prof. Joseph Ogbonnaya has rendered a valuable service by retrieving and editing the draft manuscript of this volume left behind by Doran at his untimely demise."" - Gerard Whelan SJ, Director of the Department of Fundamental Theology, Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
