Description

Students at Lycroft Phelps are marked for success.

As a straight-A student and girlfriend of the school's star rower, Charlotte believes in what the school has to offer. Meanwhile, scholarship student Max is struggling. Until he's asked to join the rowing team offering him popularity - but at what cost? Then there's Quinn, a sixth-generation legacy student, who should be able to lay claim to the school in a way others can't. Who instead must watch the boy who assaulted her continue to play at the top of the school's food chain. Only in the dead of night does Q realize the solution to her suffering: Colin Pearce must die.

But Lycroft Phelps has more than one dark secret at its heart, and as the three students uncover just how far the school will go to keep those ugly truths hidden, there's a lot more than reputation at stake...

A tense and timely thriller with a revenge plot that'll have you on the edge of your seat. Perfect for fans of Kathleen Glasgow, Chelsea Pitcher and Louise O'Neill.

(TRIGGER WARNING: this book contains descriptions of sexual violence that some readers may find upsetting.)

Reviews
"The Sharp Edge of Silence is a searingly honest story of sexual assault and one girl's journey to fight for herself in the aftermath. But it's also about friendship and finding one's voice. Quinn is heroic and human and she had my heart from the very first page. Please read this beautiful book." * Jennifer Niven, #1 New York Times bestselling author of All the Bright Places *
"Rosenblum's immersive and poetic prose tackles difficult themes with precision and care, delivering a profound account of overcoming trauma in a system designed to protect abusers." * Publishers Weekly *
"A beautifully written novel that tells a powerful story of survival, support, and finding voice." * School Library Journal *
"A thrilling story of the courage necessary to effect change at a vividly drawn boarding school. Cameron Kelly Rosenblum writes with a crackling, lyrical voice that takes root in your heart and echoes in your mind long after you're done turning pages." * Jeff Zentner, author of The Serpent King and In the Wild Light *
"Unnerving, harrowing and suspenseful, The Sharp Edge of Silence explodes with raw anger and toxic masculinity in a way that is sensitive, gripping, and hopeful." * Alex Richards, author of Accidental and When We Were Strangers *
The current focus on masculine toxicity and the 'Me Too' movement makes this a topical subject and the author has successfully managed to ensure anger oozes from the pages of this excellent book. * ReadingZone *
This is a book of strong characters, with some upsetting scenes, but a book which tackles some important issues which need to be brought out into the open. * Armadillo Magazine *
This fast-paced YA book will excite and engage readers * The School Librarian, Editor's choice *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
