Description

Book #1 of The Devil's Duke Lady Constance Read is independent, beautiful, and in need of a husband-now. The last man on earth she wants is the rogue who broke her heart six years ago, never mind that his kisses are scorching hot ...Evan Saint-Andre Sterling is rich, scarred, and finished with women-forever. He's not about to lose his head over the bewitching beauty who once turned his life upside down. But Constance needs a warrior, and Saint is the perfect man for the job. Only as a married woman can she penetrate Scotland's most notorious secret society and bring a diabolical duke to justice. When Constance and Saint become allies-and passionate lovers-he'll risk everything to protect the only woman he has ever loved.

About the Author
Katharine Ashe is the award-winning author of historical romances that reviewers call "intensely lush" and "sensationally intelligent," including How to Be a Proper Lady, an Amazon Editors' Choice for the 10 Best Books of the Year in Romance, and My Lady, My Lord and How to Marry a Highlander, 2015 and 2014 finalists for the prestigious RITA(R) Award of the Romance Writers of America. Her books are recommended by Publishers Weekly, Women's World Magazine, Booklist, Library Journal, Kirkus Reviews, Barnes & Noble, and many others, and translated into languages across the world. Katharine lives in the wonderfully warm Southeast with her beloved husband, son, dog, and a garden she likes to call romantic rather than unkempt. A professor of European History, she writes fiction because she thinks modern readers deserve grand adventures and breathtaking sensuality too. Reviews
"I'm a Katharine Ashe fan!" -- Cathy Maxwell, New York Times bestselling author "Katharine Ashe writes with eloquence and power." -- Lisa Kleypas "This author rocks historical romance." -- USA Today "Ashe's launch of the Devil's Duke series smolders ... gripping." -- Publishers Weekly "Ashe creates a strong and independent female protagonist, and readers will be dying to know if Constance gets the guy and solves the mystery. Lovers of historical romance and mysteries are sure to enjoy this novel. -- Library Journal (starred review) "Katharine Ashe will never cease to awe with the inventiveness that defines her literary contribution, neither will her dazzling mastery of the English language and unsurpassed eloquence, and THE ROGUE confirms it all." -- Fresh Fiction "The chemistry between them is electric ... Ashe's writing is lyrical and almost poetic in places, the plotting is tight, the romance is sensual and beautifully developed; and Saint is easily one of the finest romantic heroes I've read in quite some time." -- All About Romance (DESERT ISLE KEEPER review) "The romance between Saint and Constance is truly stellar. Readers will thoroughly enjoy watching these two smart, wary characters set aside past hurts and find their way back to trust and love." -- BookPage

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
