Description

How far would you go to save the one you love?

'Taut, with high-stakes tension, The Price ticks all the boxes and will stay with you long after the final page is turned'
Alice Hunter

Clara and George's world has been turned upside down. Having a baby was supposed to bring them closer but they've just got the news that every parent dreads. Their baby is seriously ill and needs life-saving treatment.

Struggling to cope, George throws himself into his work as a police detective, determined to gather enough evidence to put local drug baron Mantel away for good. But when Mantel's businesses become the target of robberies, the case becomes more complicated. Especially when Mantel turns to Clara for help - he wants to find the person responsible before her husband does.

Clara is desperate to raise money for experimental treatment to save her child, but is this a price too high to pay?

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
