And in doing so finally explains the incredible reality behind the legendary civilisation described by Plato and its disappearance.

Reviews
intriguing hypothesis * THE INDEPENDENT *
The book is best viewed as an adventure story, trailing a fascinating but tantalisingly obscure lost ancient civilisation all over the world. It's tremendous fun, and captures a compelling portrait of the Minoans, pieced together by evidence. * ENTERTAINMENT FOCUS *
Menzies's theory on why the Minoans disappeared so abruptly is fascinating. * THE LADY *
