For the railway enthusiast, the past generation has seen a remarkable transformation from the end of steam and the reign of the popular Warship and Western diesels, through the High Speed Train (HST) years, and more recently the electrification of the London to Bristol section of the line and the introduction of bi-mode diesel/electric units. About the Author
Jeremy is a former railwayman and keen photographer, having worked for many years on the Western and Southern regions of British Rail, and latterly on Eurostar and Crossrail. Over the past forty years he has amassed a photographic collection that documents the changes in the trains and infrastructure throughout the UK and beyond, and from his Hampshire home continues to record the changes to the UK's rail network.
