The last command Jesus gave the church before he ascended to heaven was the Great Commission, the call for Christians to "make disciples of all nations". But we have responded by making Christians, not disciples. This has been the church's Great Omission.

About the Author
Dallas Willard was a professor at the University of Southern California's School of Philosophy. He wrote the groundbreaking books The Divine Conspiracy and The Spirit of the Disciplines which forever changed the way thousands of Christians experience their faith. Dallas Willard died in 2013.
