About the Author
Soraya M. Lane earned a law degree before realizing that law wasn't the career for her and that her future was in writing. She is now the author of historical and contemporary women's fiction, and her novel Wives of War is an Amazon Charts bestseller. Lane lives on a small farm in her native New Zealand with her husband, their two young sons, and a collection of four-legged friends. When she's not writing, she loves to be outside playing make-believe with her children or snuggled up inside reading. Reviews
"...It's gratifying to me to see women, who made a substantial contribution to the war effort, finally find their place in history the way they have long deserved. It's a gripping story and one that made me want to look back in time and appreciate my own mother's efforts as a shipyard welder." -Debbie Macomber, author of the Dakota series and the Rose Harbor series "Lane has mastered the craft of relating historical events to a modern audience, all the while telling a story of those who may have lived through it...This pearl is clearly another triumph by Lane, and now one of my go-to book recommendations." -Historical Novel Society
